HISTORY OF THE COMPANY
Premier Plastics originated in 1997 with an 11,000 sq.ft. facility in Wyoming, Minnesota. President Bob Menne III began with a single rotational molding machine and has expanded ever since.
Thermoforming was incorporated into the company at the start of 2000, giving Premier the advantage of offering vacuum forming in addition to rotational molding. The most drastic expansion came in the spring of 2003, when Menne relocated the operations of Premier Plastics to a new 35,000 sq.ft. manufacturing facility in the Laskin Energy Park in Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota. Attracted to the Northern Minnesota area because of the dedicated workforce, the all season city of Hoyt Lakes turned out to be a perfect fit for a company specializing in all season products.
Since the relocation to the new Hoyt Lakes facility, Premier Plastics has experienced exceptional growth and measurable success. The majority of this is due to the addition of several pieces of equipment. Rotational molding capacity increased by 125% and the vacuum forming department grew by 200%. This has enabled Premier to service large accounts with ease and continue their growth as a leading World Class Manufacturer.
